Omnilux Photo Therapuetics
Omnilux is a totally natural method of light-only skin treatments. The Omnilux machine is available with:
- A RED LAMP FOR SKIN REJUVINATION
- A BLUE LAMP FOR ACNE MANAGEMENT
The red light will stimulate natural processes to rejuvenate skin, resulting in an overall lifting and hydrating effect. Skin tone, texture and pigmentation of skin will also improve. A feeling of well being and relaxation is also apparent.
The red light is an ideal treatment to use on its own or to combine in any in-salon facial treatment to enhance results (Combination Facial Treatments).
The blue light is an effective treatment for acne management. Acne is one of the world’s most common skin conditions and results from obstruction, bacterial colonisation and inflammation of the sebaceous follicles.
One of the key bacteria responsible for the inflammation is Propionibacterium acnes or P.acnes, which produces natural chemicals called poryphyrins, which are sensitive to light at different wavelengths.
When stimulated these chemicals will neutralise the bacteria. with no bacteria present, inflammation will subside.
Furthermore, the action of light on the sebaceous glands produce an environment that is inhibitory to the growth of P.acnes.
The blue light can be used on its own or in a Combination Facial Treatment (CFT) to maximise results.
