Danielle Kendrick. Managing Director & Senior Beauty Therapist.
I started my beauty therapy career in 1990, attending the Yorkshire College of Beauty (as seen on Sky TV). I graduated in 1991 and went straight out to work obtaining a senior position within Regis salons (even though I was still only 17). In 1993 I decided to go it alone by renting a single room, which very quickly progressed in to a whole salon, within 2 years.

Whilst other salons were still in the dark ages, I believed at a very early stage (due to my own skin problems) that ‘cosmetics’ skin care and makeup were not the way forward and that ‘non-cosmetics’ (Cosmeceuticals) products and services were far superior, therefore, when other salons were making promises of ‘eternal youth’ and great skin, my salon was actually delivering results. I can also say I now have great skin!

I am proud to say I have achieved every award and accolade available within the Cosmeceuticals industry and with the help of their range of home-care products and in-salon treatments I have become one of the top skin-care consultants in the area.  Free skin-care consultations are available, all you have to do is give me a call and I will be happy to have an informal chat with you and give you the best advice I can.

I have been working in my sister’s salon since I was 13 (as a Saturday girl) so decided at an early age that I wanted a career in beauty therapy.  I attended the Yorkshire College of Beauty (as see on Sky TV) in 2002 and graduated in 2002 with the highest qualification attainable, worldwide, CIDESCO in 2003.

I now manage Brooklyn House of Beauty where I oversee a great team of therapists.  My specialist area is within skin care and Intense Pulse Light Therapy (permanent hair removal and skin condition treatment). Nothing makes me happier than to see the results of my clients who have previously been miss-prescribed, now within a small amount of time of leaving the salon looking great and full of confidence.

With over 16 years working within the hair industry for some of Yorkshires top salons I feel my vast experience has provided me with the knowledge and confidence to successfully develop what, 2 years ago, was a new salon within Brooklyn House of Beauty, in to what is is today a very reputable, highly respected and incredibly busy hair salon with a fantastic atmosphere.

I personally believe that times, styles and products are constantly changing so insist that, not only myself, but every member of my team attend a wide variety of training courses so we are never left standing and are always one step ahead of our rivals.

I am currently in my second year NVQL2 which, when I have finished, will go on to L3.  I am interested in all aspects of hair colouring and when my training is finished would love to take on the role as the salon’s Hair Colour Technician. Jenny Siddons. Colour Technician/Extensions Specialist.
I have been with Brooklyn for the last 18 months and within this time have attended many colour courses at the Wella Studio in Manchester. I thoroughly enjoy colouring from basic tints and highlights to total colour changes. Also being the in-house extensions technician (having completed a diploma with Great Lengths and the Leeds Academy), if you are tired of having short hair and don’t want to wait for it to grow then come and see me and I will have you going from page-boy to Rapunzel in no time.

Cassie Goodhall. Beauty Therapist.
I am the newest member of the beauty team, currently in my final term at the Yorkshire College of Beauty.  I have already passed my beauty and body term and now have only my electrolysis and CIDESCO qualifications to complete; these will be completed in December. I have a flair for nail enhancement and nail art and have just completed a course at the Nail Academy so at the moment I am offering my services in this area for half the normal rate.  Be quick because I intend to be fully qualified very soon and make this my specialist area.
